Full Stack Engineer - TypeScript & AWS (Mexico & LATAM)

About the role

DaCodes, a software development and digital transformation firm with nearly 300 people, is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build a web platform. The role is hands-on across frontend and backend, focused on TypeScript, React, Express, PostgreSQL and AWS in a Docker-containerized three-tier architecture. The product will later include Web3/Blockchain and AI integrations, and experience or interest in those areas is valued but not required.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full stack features using TypeScript
• Build frontend interfaces and reusable components with React
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs with Node.js and Express
• Work with PostgreSQL for data persistence, queries and data management
• Contribute to a three-tier application architecture and containerized applications with Docker
• Develop and operate solutions in an AWS environment
• Troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, database and integrations
• Take part in technical discussions and architecture decisions when needed
• Collaborate with the CI/CD and infrastructure team and conduct code reviews
• Work with a distributed team across Mexico and the United States

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong full stack experience, hands-on on both frontend and backend
• Ability to work autonomously and troubleshoot problems across layers of an application
• Advanced spoken and written English required
