Global Key Account Manager – Supply Chain Solutions

About the role

Geodis is seeking a Global Key Account Manager to lead worldwide coordination of strategic accounts within its Supply Chain Operations (SCO) business. The role combines commercial strategy, inside sales, operational oversight, and financial management to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute account strategies, develop customer relationship plans, and identify new business opportunities across the supply chain spend.
• Act as the central liaison between the customer and all internal functions, handling change‑management requests, contract addendums, and escalation management.
• Present performance metrics, SWOT analyses, and growth perspectives to SCO leadership.
• Support procurement teams in buying strategy, respond to tender requests, and collaborate with transformation teams to increase supply‑chain visibility.
• Monitor operational indicators at a global level, ensure timely reporting, and work with suppliers to meet contractual objectives.
• Drive profitable revenue growth, achieve EBIT targets, improve DPO/DSO ratios, and ensure accurate invoicing and dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10‑15 years of experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably within logistics or supply‑chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of supply‑chain processes and a high motivation to engage with commercial, operational, financial, and project aspects of the business.
