IB High School English Teacher (Grades 11‑12)

About the role

Eton School, part of Nord Anglia Education, seeks a passionate English teacher to guide high‑school students through the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) curricula. You will inspire learners aged 16‑18 to develop strong reading, speaking, and comprehension skills while fostering critical thinking and inquiry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess English lessons aligned with IB and MYP standards.
• Prepare students for the Extended Essay and Personal Project components.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and provide constructive feedback.
• Attend school events and meetings as directed by the principal.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English Literature (or related field).
• Native English speaker with deep knowledge of IB programmes.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience at middle‑school or high‑school level.
• Strong organisational abilities, classroom management, and lesson‑planning skills.
• Familiarity with pedagogical strategies for teenage learners.
