Indirect Tax and Foreign Trade Director

About the role

PwC Mexico is seeking an experienced Director to lead its Indirect Tax and Foreign Trade practice. You will advise a diverse client portfolio on VAT, GST, sales tax and other indirect tax matters, helping them navigate complex regulations and optimise their tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and drive business development for indirect tax services.
• Provide high‑level guidance on tax planning, compliance and strategy.
• Oversee multiple client projects while maintaining executive‑level relationships.
• Mentor junior staff and develop future leaders within the practice.
• Identify market gaps and convert opportunities into successful engagements.
• Promote technology adoption and thought leadership in indirect tax.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in indirect tax, VAT, GST or related fields.
• Strong business development and leadership capabilities.
• Fluent oral and written English.
