Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

PPG is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to design, configure and implement technology solutions across its global infrastructure services. The role focuses on automation, monitoring and reliable operations of Linux and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in on‑call rotation to support foundational infrastructure operations.
• Perform Linux system administration including installation, patching, performance tuning and security hardening.
• Create and maintain Ansible automation playbooks for repeatable infrastructure tasks.
• Work with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
• Manage storage solutions including SAN, NAS and backup/restore processes.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate system and infrastructure tasks.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support across operating systems, storage and cloud environments.
• Document Linux environments and produce activity reports.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI or Alibaba).
• Working knowledge of operating systems and systems software.
• Advanced level of English.
