About the role

IAC Group is seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes at its plant in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León. The role focuses on optimizing equipment layout, workflow, and workforce utilization while ensuring product specifications are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and drive continuous improvement of assigned manufacturing processes.
• Analyze equipment layout, process flow, and workforce utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Conduct process troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis of product defects, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate and implement changes suggested by Launch Engineers or Product Engineers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date process documentation and manage PFMEA activities.
• Support production KPIs such as OEE, scrap reduction, and line balancing.
• Manage Poka‑Yoke systems and Red Rabbits, ensuring proper documentation and daily follow‑up.
• Control product and process deviation procedures and generate improvement ideas.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking and business acumen.
