Integration Engineer (SAP S/4 & BTP)

About the role

We are seeking a SAP Integration Engineer to design, implement, and support technical integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and various satellite applications and systems. The role combines deep technical expertise with the ability to leverage AI‑powered tools to improve delivery efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and external applications, ensuring data consistency and system interoperability.
• Configure and customize SAP BTP integration services, APIs, and connectors using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Transport Management, Cloud ALM, Mobile Services).
• Analyze integration requirements, devise integration strategies, and contribute to scalable, reliable technical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay up‑to‑date with SAP BTP features, integration best practices, and embedded AI capabilities; use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to enhance work quality.
• Collaborate with external IT operations suppliers and SAP within the RISE with SAP framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in technical SAP integration, focusing on SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in regulated (GxP) environments is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; experience in international or cross‑cultural teams is advantageous.
• Fluent English; Spanish or Portuguese are additional assets.
