International Operations Agent I

About the role

The International Operations Agent I supports AIT Worldwide Logistics by managing inbound freight forwarding shipments to the United States and Mexico. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the agent ensures shipments move smoothly across sea, air, ground, and rail modes according to customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Control and monitor international freight forwarding shipments entering the USA and Mexico.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update the transportation management system.
• Resolve issues related to documentation, routing, or compliance.
• Communicate status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of import/export regulations and logistics processes.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to AIT’s technology platforms.
