IT Hero – Technical Support & Management

About the role

You will be the go‑to person ensuring all technology at Camp.us works flawlessly. The role combines tech management and day‑to‑day support so staff can work without friction.

Key responsibilities

• Tech Management – assess staff needs, diagnose issues, plan, roll‑out and monitor hardware, software and network solutions.
• Tech Support – provide fast, friendly assistance, troubleshoot problems, resolve tickets quickly and guide users.
• Network – continuously monitor LAN/Wireless health, tune performance, secure access and work with vendors on escalations.
• Hardware – manage lifecycle upgrades, procure and set up equipment for new hires.
• Software – oversee software lifecycle, install applications, manage online licenses.
• Printers – install, maintain and ensure reliable printing across the campus.
• Inventory – keep an up‑to‑date online inventory of all hardware, software, phones, network and AV gear.
• Documentation – create and maintain technical playbooks, maps and procedures.
• Special Events – troubleshoot AV issues for meetings and events.
• Cloud – enforce backup processes and ensure data safety for the community.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in technical support with a strong technical background.
• Ability to explain complex information in simple, clear terms.
• Love for order, structure and logical thinking.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Up‑to‑date technical knowledge and good interpersonal/customer‑care skills.
• Accurate record‑keeping and documentation abilities.
