IT Support Engineer – Onsite Desk Support

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide onsite deskside assistance for end‑user devices. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, delivering fast, reliable solutions while minimizing business disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, replacements and imaging of new systems.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot operating systems, applications and drivers.
• Resolve complex technical issues involving applications, hardware, security, databases, mobile devices and servers.
• Manage enterprise security tools (encryption, antivirus, firewall, DLP) and endpoint management platforms such as Intune and NexThink.
• Administer Active Directory, VDI environments and network connectivity for wired and wireless devices.
• Support conference‑room AV equipment and assist with network troubleshooting.
• Lead minor projects, create knowledge‑base articles, technical documentation and maintain accurate asset inventory.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in desktop/technical support within an enterprise environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proven ability to perform root‑cause analysis and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Hardware diagnostics and repair.

• Active Directory and VDI administration.
• Endpoint management tools: Microsoft Intune, NexThink.
• Security solutions: encryption, antivirus, firewall, data‑loss‑prevention.
