IT Support Specialist – Manufacturing IT

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for manufacturing IT systems at our Reynosa plant. You will work closely with end‑users in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring that hardware, software and communication tools operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize support tickets through the Help Desk system.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, users, issues and resolutions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems directly with users.
• Communicate expected resolution times and deliver proactive training to reduce repeat incidents.
• Coordinate with IT vendors for repairs, replacements or returns.
• Recommend solutions and support procurement of new IT services or equipment.
• Install, configure, relocate and maintain computers and peripheral devices.
• Develop training materials and user manuals for common systems and tools.
• Deliver on‑site or external IT training sessions.
• Provide support for phone systems and mobile device services.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of IT support experience or relevant technical education.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware and software.
• Ability to analyze technical issues and propose effective solutions.
