About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑level applications. The role is hybrid, based in Mexico City with three days a week on site at the Infosys office, and involves frequent interaction with clients.

Key responsibilities

Develop high‑quality, maintainable code for new features and existing systems using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
Lead the design and implementation of complex features across the full stack.
Translate functional requirements into robust backend and frontend solutions.
Write and maintain unit, integration, contract, and end‑to‑end tests following TDD practices.
Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture techniques.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.
Engage with clients to clarify requirements and provide regular updates.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define scope, timelines, and delivery.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required profile

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
3–5 years of professional full‑stack development experience.
Proven ability to work on large‑scale enterprise systems and complex integrations.
High emotional intelligence and stakeholder management capabilities.

Required skills

Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring AOP, JPA, Hibernate.
Microservices architecture and distributed transaction patterns.
React, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Redux, Context API, React Hooks.
RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML.
SQL Server or Oracle DB, SQL.
Familiarity with legacy technologies such as JSF, AngularJS, jQuery, JBoss, Log4j, Eclipse STS.
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Testing frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Jest, React Testing Library.
CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery, code reviews.
