Junior Cybersecurity Analyst (NIST) – Bilingual

About the role

Sovos is looking for a bilingual Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join its Security Operations team. You will help improve detection, investigation, and response processes across a complex SaaS environment, ensuring security outcomes are both effective and sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts from endpoint, identity, email, network, and cloud sources, distinguishing real threats from noise.
• Analyze logs, telemetry, and system behavior to uncover suspicious activity.
• Participate in incident response as a member of the CIRT, collecting evidence and producing structured incident reports.
• Tune detection rules, refine triage logic, and reduce false positives while maintaining coverage.
• Identify and streamline repetitive workflows into scalable processes.
• Administer, maintain, and optimize security tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with CorpIT, Engineering, and other teams for investigations and tooling changes.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).
• Strong analytical mindset with good judgment for security signals.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced SaaS environment.
• Willingness to learn and improve security operations continuously.
