Junior Financial Controller – Commercial Area

About the role

The Junior Financial Controller will support the Commercial Area by ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and data‑driven decision‑making. Working closely with the Controller Manager and cross‑functional teams, you will help maintain the integrity of financial data and drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, including journal entry review, account reconciliations and variance analysis using SAP, OHEP Hyperion and other platforms.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance.
• Lead or support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and rolling projections.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, financial controls and external audit requirements.
• Perform detailed cost and margin analysis to identify inefficiencies and optimise profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Logistics and other departments to improve financial processes.
• Drive automation initiatives for reporting, data collection and reconciliation.
• Participate in the evaluation of new business opportunities and capital investments.
