Junior IT Service Desk Support

About the role

The Junior IT Service Desk Support professional will join Inter‑Con Security Systems’ Global IT team to ensure smooth operation of technology resources across the organization. Reporting to the Global IT Manager, the role provides first‑line assistance to employees, handling hardware and software issues, managing equipment inventories, and supporting onboarding and off‑boarding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve support tickets related to computers, printers, mobile devices and software applications within defined response times.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all technology equipment.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware assets and track user assignments and returns.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and off‑boarding, including equipment delivery, email account creation, access configuration and software installation.
• Assist in monitoring and supporting LAN networks, internet connectivity, telephony and other communication equipment.
• Liaise with external vendors to ensure continuity of services such as internet, printing and telephony.
• Enforce internal IT policies and procedures related to equipment usage and software licensing.
