Junior Operations & Accounting Associate – LATAM

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Operations & Accounting Associate to support the Operations and Accounting teams for a U.S.-based short‑term rental portfolio. The role blends operational coordination with accounting support, ensuring accurate financial records, smooth property onboarding and off‑boarding, and exceptional service for property owners.

Key responsibilities

• Record and monitor accounting transactions, assist with AP/AR reconciliations, and prepare monthly Owner Statements.
• Coordinate property onboarding and off‑boarding, manage utility accounts, HOA access, licenses, and platform credentials.
• Respond to owner inquiries, liaise with vendors and utility providers, and handle service disruptions.
• Manage chargeback disputes on OTA platforms such as Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com.
• Maintain operational documentation, update SOPs, and identify workflow improvements.

Required profile

• Intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Experience with Google Workspace and strong Excel/Sheets skills.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with short‑term rental or property‑management operations is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new systems.
