Key Account Manager – Automotive Supplier

About the role

Montaplast of North America, Inc., a global automotive supplier, is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive growth in the Western United States and Mexico. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities while deepening relationships with existing customers, acting as the primary commercial liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts, serving as the primary commercial point of contact.
• Achieve annual sales, revenue, profitability, and business growth objectives for assigned accounts.
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through strategic customer engagement and business development activities.
• Coordinate internal resources across Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments to support customer programs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Prepare, present, and negotiate commercial proposals, quotations, long‑term agreements (LTAs), and pricing strategies.
• Monitor customer scorecards, performance metrics, and coordinate corrective actions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, pricing trends, and customer strategies to support business planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or a related field (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to manage key accounts and drive revenue growth in a B2B environment.
