About the role
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be the primary point of contact for Brown‑Forman Mexico’s assigned retail key accounts. You will develop long‑term partnerships that drive strong sales and gross profit performance while aligning short‑ and long‑term business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior buyers and corporate executives.
- Lead contract negotiations and develop account business plans that meet strategic objectives.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (sales, finance, marketing, credit, collection) to deliver solutions that match customer needs.
- Track market trends, conduct visits, and identify new business opportunities.
- Forecast sales volume, monitor performance, and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with high‑severity requests or escalations and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Present executive business summaries covering results, market data, and operational issues.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing key retail accounts and delivering sales growth.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute account strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal functions.
- Analytical mindset to interpret market data and forecast demand.
