Lead Cloud Ops Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Cloud Ops Software Engineer to drive the design and delivery of tenant management and deployment automation platforms for a leading U.S. education‑technology client. The role blends full‑stack development, cloud infrastructure, and technical leadership in an AWS and Kubernetes environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full‑stack design and implementation of tenant management and deployment automation platforms.
• Build scalable tenant deployment workflows and infrastructure configuration management capabilities.
• Provide architectural guidance and mentor software and cloud engineering teams.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code automation using Terraform, Kubernetes, Snowflake and related cloud services.
• Collaborate with product, cloud operations, and platform engineering to define reliable automation solutions.
• Maintain frontend and backend components with Next.js, React, Node.js, Material UI and ORM frameworks.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows and production orchestration.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong full‑stack engineering background with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native technologies, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex distributed systems.

Required skills

• Next.js, React, Node.js, Material UI, TypeORM (or similar ORM).
• Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, Snowflake.
• CI/CD, Git, GitOps principles.
• Containerization and distributed system design.
