Lead SAP Transportation Management Consultant

About the role

Infosys Mexico is looking for a Lead SAP Transportation Management Consultant to join its consulting team. You will design, architect, and implement SAP Transportation Management solutions, provide knowledge transfer, and support clients in optimizing their logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Discover and define client problem statements and evaluate solution options.
• Create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts for SAP TM deployments.
• Implement deployment plans and support knowledge‑transfer activities.
• Configure SAP TM settings such as freight orders, carrier selection, charge calculations, and planning strategies.
• Integrate SAP TM with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, EWM and other external systems.
• Define master data (locations, resources, carriers, lanes) and design end‑to‑end transportation processes.
• Optimize freight cost management, contracts, and settlement processes.
• Participate in Application Management Services (AMS) support projects when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including at least 7 years with SAP SD, MM or Transportation Management.
• At least 2 full life‑cycle SAP TM implementations.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements, write functional specifications, develop test scripts and conduct testing.
• Authorized to work in Mexico and willing to work in a hybrid mode (office presence as needed).
