Legal Assistant – Attorney (Accident Injury) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Legal Assistant to support U.S. personal injury attorneys remotely. You will work from your home office in Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, or Venezuela, providing essential legal drafting, translation, and case‑management services.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and organize demand letters, medical summaries, intake notes, and other legal documents in English and Spanish.
• Manage communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters in both languages.
• Assist attorneys with case‑management tasks such as updating files, tracking deadlines, and organizing documents.
• Translate and proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case materials related to personal injury claims.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive client information.
• Obtain HIPAA certification immediately upon hire (training provided).

Required profile

• Licensed attorney in a Latin American country, willing to perform paralegal‑level work.
• Fully fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with U.S. personal injury law is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Reliable high‑speed internet and a suitable home office setup.
