Legal Counsel

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal Affairs team in Mexico City. The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic international environment, providing legal support across a wide range of commercial and corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial and regulatory issues.
• Support legal risk management and compliance initiatives.
• Assist business units in identifying practical legal solutions.
• Contribute to data‑privacy and data‑protection projects.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with external counsel when required.
• Deliver legal training and awareness sessions to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Law degree and active license to practice law in Mexico.
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably as in‑house counsel.
• Experience in both law‑firm and corporate legal environments.
• Proven ability to support multinational or regional operations.
• Familiarity with technology, telecommunications or IT sectors is a plus.
