Legal Counsel – Labor & Commercial Law

About the role

Yinlun TDI LLC is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support its operations in Mexico. The role focuses on labor and employment matters, commercial contracts, and corporate compliance, working closely with HR, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on Mexican labor and employment laws, employee relations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and workplace disputes.
• Assist HR with labor complaints, internal investigations, employee documentation, labor inspections, and termination processes.
• Coordinate with external counsel on labor litigation, conciliation, and employee claims.
• Review and update company policies, employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other HR documents for legal compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures.
• Monitor contract expirations, renewals, and obligations.
• Support corporate legal matters, including government filings, permits, licenses, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with internal investigations, compliance concerns, employee complaints, and ethics issues.

Required profile

• Law degree with a focus on Mexican labor and commercial law.
• Proven experience advising on labor relations, employment disputes, and contract negotiations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Mexican labor legislation.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience managing external counsel and litigation processes.
