Legal Manager – Mobility & Delivery (Mexico City)

About the role

DiDi is seeking a Legal Manager to provide comprehensive legal support to the DiDi Shop and New Verticals teams in Mexico. Based in Mexico City, you will focus on contracts, corporate matters, and regulatory compliance, reporting to the DiDi Legal Director for Mobility and Delivery (Mexico).

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary legal liaison for DiDi Shop and New Verticals, aligning legal advice with business objectives while mitigating risk.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, and other stakeholders to ensure new products and features comply with applicable laws.
• Negotiate, draft, and approve commercial agreements, as well as Terms & Conditions for promotions, campaigns, and rewards programs.
• Review and advise on standard operating procedures and internal protocols to ensure legal alignment.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting food delivery and e‑commerce (licensing, labor, consumer protection, technology) and provide actionable guidance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience with a strong corporate law background.
• Law degree from a Mexican university.
• Proven expertise in commercial transactions and ability to advise on various agreement types.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Experience in transportation or technology sectors is a plus.
