Legal Operations Associate

About the role

This remote position supports contract management by combining legal expertise with technology‑driven processes. You will work at the intersection of law, data, and digital tools to improve workflow efficiency and ensure compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Input, update, and maintain contract data in legal operations and CLM platforms.
• Review, organize, and track key contract terms, deadlines, obligations, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and insights from contract data to aid business and legal decisions.
• Collaborate with legal and operations teams to keep contract information accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Communicate with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders to clarify contract details and resolve documentation questions.
• Support administrative processes related to contract management and legal‑operations initiatives.
• Contribute to workflow improvements by leveraging technology and organized data‑management practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in legal operations, legal assistance, paralegal work, or a similar role.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
• Interest in legal technology, process optimisation, and digital transformation.

Required skills

• Experience with legal technology platforms and contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications.
