Local SEO Specialist – Google Business Profile & Off‑Page

About the role

We are a lean, results‑driven agency that helps high‑ticket landscaping, contracting, and home‑service businesses dominate Google Maps. As a Local SEO Specialist you will own the Google Business Profile, citation building, and link‑building functions for multiple service‑business clients, working closely with an on‑page strategist.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Google Business Profile assets: posts, photos, services, review responses, and competitor monitoring.
• Build and maintain citations with tier‑one, locally relevant sources, ensuring NAP consistency.
• Design and execute end‑to‑end link‑building campaigns, including strategy, vendor management, outreach, and verification.
• Drive Map Pack visibility and improve domain rating as measurable outcomes.
• Tag calls in CallRail and ensure clean lead attribution.
• Co‑sign Map Pack keyword targets with the on‑page counterpart.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing GBP, citations, and link‑building for local service businesses.
• Proven track record of improving Map Pack rankings.
• Experience handling off‑page SEO for several clients simultaneously.
• Comfortable using Local Dominator or BrightLocal, SEMrush, and CallRail.
• Daily use of AI tools for drafting, outreach, and research.
• Proactive in flagging performance drops and proposing solutions.
