Logistics Coordinator – Automotive

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between an automotive manufacturing plant and Charger Logistics' internal operations. You will ensure that daily transportation and logistics activities run smoothly, guaranteeing on‑time pickups and deliveries while maintaining strict compliance with client protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, confirming timely movement of materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate directly with drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatch teams to resolve real‑time issues affecting transportation flow.
• Track shipment status, manage exceptions, and proactively communicate any delays or discrepancies.
• Support logistics processes such as documentation, load planning, and adherence to customer‑specific instructions.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, record non‑conformities, and evaluate carrier performance.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety rules, transportation regulations, and client protocols.
• Identify and propose process improvements within plant logistics operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply‑chain operations; automotive experience is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced plant environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Availability to work on‑site at the client’s automotive plant, with occasional Saturday shifts.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or plant‑based logistics software.
