Logistics Trainee – International Trade & Transport

About the role

The Logistics Trainee supports the coordination of transport activities and the import/export process within Siemens Energy. This position offers hands‑on experience in international trade, documentation, and supplier interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and executing logistics and transportation activities, including overseas shipments.
• Prepare and manage documentation for each material movement.
• Maintain constant contact with suppliers and carriers.
• Pick‑up materials from suppliers, arrange air waybills, purchase orders and transportation.
• Generate purchase orders in SAP and support freight forwarder account statements.
• Track transit of materials from supplier plants to company entry points.

Required profile

• Graduate in International Trade, Logistics or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Incoterms, FCL and LCL imports/exports.
• Familiarity with multimodal transport (air, sea, land).
• Intermediate English reading and writing skills.
• Strong communication and customer‑orientation.
