About the role

We are looking for a Mainframe Developer to join our team in Toluca, Mexico. The role involves programming, developing, and maintaining regulatory processes within the payments area of a financial institution, with a focus on optimizing batch operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications and systems, ensuring code quality and efficiency.
• Develop and manage complex batch processes, including data file administration and optimization.
• Utilize version control tools such as Endeavor and schedulers like TWS for process programming and management.
• Apply online programming knowledge to develop transactions and services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain clear communication.
• Identify and proactively resolve complex technical issues.

Required profile

• Solid experience in mainframe environments.
• Ability to work within agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Interest in the financial/banking sector.
