Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, and tools used on production assembly lines. This role ensures high production quality, continuous operation, and long‑term reliability of all equipment, with a focus on HVAC production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of production machinery and tools.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, thermal, and instrumentation issues in HVAC lines and related equipment.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all production machinery and facility equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, schedules, and performance data; prepare detailed reports for management.
• Monitor spare‑part inventory, order consumables timely to avoid production delays.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify maintenance needs and support equipment upgrades.
• Lead root‑cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on tool usage, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and company policies; participate in safety audits.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire‑protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, environmental compliance, and relevant codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork with internal and external stakeholders.
