Managing Director – Precision Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Managing Director to lead our precision manufacturing site in Mexico. The role carries full profit‑and‑loss responsibility and is pivotal for driving operational excellence across a high‑precision metal component production facility serving the automotive and medical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Own the site’s P&L, ensuring profitability, growth and cost efficiency.
• Develop and execute the site strategy in line with Group objectives and long‑term business plans.
• Lead and coordinate core functions including production, quality, logistics and finance.
• Guarantee compliance with Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS) standards, customer specifications and relevant regulations.
• Drive operational performance through KPI management, continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, complemented by business management qualifications.
• At least 10 years of experience in industrial environments covering operations, production, supply chain, quality and finance.
• Proven general‑management experience in a medium‑sized manufacturing company with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Solid international experience, preferably in Mexico, with knowledge of local business practices and legal frameworks.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, results orientation and excellent communication skills.
