Manufacturing Engineer II

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer II supports Jabil’s production operations by applying analytical and communication skills to improve processes and ensure quality. This position works closely with managers, clients and cross‑functional teams to deliver clear information and practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the public.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Operate personal computers using Windows operating systems and Jabil‑specific software packages.
• Prepare simple correspondence, documentation and visual aids.
• Interpret graphs, compute rates, ratios and percentages, and apply basic arithmetic to manufacturing data.

Required profile

• Strong ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
• Analytical mindset with experience in problem definition and data collection.
• Comfort with standardized situations and following step‑by‑step instructions.
• Basic literacy in reading instructions, memos and visual materials.
• Proficiency in elementary mathematics and graph interpretation.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Windows operating system and PC applications.
• Experience with Jabil’s proprietary software packages.
• Basic arithmetic, rate/ratio/percentage calculations and graph interpretation.
