Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Mexico facility, part of the global Marmon Holdings family. You will ensure that tools, equipment, workstations and documentation are maintained at optimal condition, supporting efficient and safe production of food‑service equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain processes, tools, documents and equipment for production.
• Design and develop tooling and fixtures.
• Apply poka‑yoke methods to prevent production errors.
• Create and update PFMEA, work instructions, visual aids and other supporting documents.
• Ensure tooling, fixtures and equipment remain in optimal condition.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on New Product Introduction (NPI), Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
• Participate in daily SQDCP meetings and address identified opportunities.
• Train and certify new production hires, emphasizing safety, quality and productivity.
• Control production spending within budget and coordinate resources for engineering changes.

• Familiarity with SQDCP methodology.
