Manufacturing Engineering Engineer

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Manufacturing Engineering Engineer to join its Sahagun site in Mexico. You will work with cross‑functional teams to improve processes, support new product introductions, and ensure high‑quality, safe manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
• Analyze production workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to enhance product manufacturability.
• Design and validate processes for new product launches.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical expertise to production teams.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and monitor KPIs.
• Stay informed on industry trends and adopt innovative technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems and industrial engineering principles.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawings.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Leadership, teamwork and attention to detail.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
