Marker Quality Specialist

About the role

The Marker Quality Specialist ensures that production markers meet established quality standards and optimization requirements. You will verify marker specifications, perform quality checks, and support the accurate release of approved markers for production within Kontoor Brands' apparel manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create backups of laid markers and maintain organized marker folders on the local SQL server.
• Verify stencil/summary sheet requirements (style, width, sizes, direction, special instructions) and ensure compliance with tilting tables and fabric rules.
• Float and inspect markers against instructions, specifications, and standards; record final marker information on the marker summary sheet.
• Optimize markers in AccuNest based on priority and due date, confirming improved efficiency.
• Validate splice marks and overall compliance; reject non‑conforming markers and coordinate corrective actions.
• Save approved markers to server folders, print the sloop report, upload markers to SAP, and support rush markers or special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Knowledge and experience in quality and production processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
