Marketing Account Director – Start‑Ups

About the role

You will own a portfolio of 8–12 core accounts – early‑stage and growth‑stage consumer brands that are figuring it out in real time. These founders often have no dedicated marketing team and limited budgets, so you’ll need to prioritize high‑impact actions and guide them toward sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Employ AI technologies and Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem to enhance business processes.
• Run quarterly Power Circuit reviews to diagnose growth constraints and build prioritized roadmaps.
• Own senior client relationships, often directly with founders, delivering board‑ready updates.
• Build measurement infrastructure from scratch and establish performance baselines.
• Coordinate paid, SEO, content, email, and creative work around a focused account strategy.
• Identify expansion opportunities appropriate to the client’s stage and manage renewals to grow MRR.
• Develop and coach 1–2 direct reports and mentor analysts working with startups.

Required profile

• 6+ years in marketing with experience in early‑stage or scaling consumer brands.
• Proven ability to work with founder‑led businesses where decisions move fast.
• Comfortable building strategies from scratch without brand guidelines or historical data.
• Strong prioritization instincts and experience with scrappy media mixes.
• Track record of retaining and growing accounts, including through rough patches.
