Material Planner

About the role

ABB is looking for a Material Planner to manage end‑to‑end inventory planning for its Electrification Smart Buildings factory in Ramos Arizpe. You will ensure optimal stock levels, support internal customer service, and drive efficient replenishment from purchase requisition to customer invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain inventory policies based on product segmentation.
• Calculate safety stock, reorder points, lot sizes, lead times and replenishment strategies using planning systems and ERP.
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, coordinating closely with operations buyers and shared services.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve on‑time delivery, order quantities, quality, lead time and flexibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning or supplier management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
