Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will support design changes for existing products and develop new options to grow the Commercial and Light Commercial business. This early‑career role offers hands‑on experience across the full design lifecycle, from concept through manufacturing, while contributing to sustaining engineering, cost reduction, and special projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support release of engineering designs to manufacturing plants for production review.
• Participate in the design process from concept through manufacturing check samples.
• Create detailed drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using CAD and PLM systems.
• Design and draft components, assemblies, and product packaging.
• Execute design tasks within PLM workflows, ensuring data accuracy and up‑to‑date BOMs.
• Follow product design engineering specifications and maintain engineering data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results.

Required skills

• Experience or knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD or similar).
• Basic understanding of PLM systems and engineering workflows.
