Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will work with local and global engineering teams to develop products that meet customer specifications. The role covers concept creation, detailed design, validation, documentation, and launch support for production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop static and dynamic designs of electro‑mechanical components and perform related analyses.
• Create and release detailed drawings and documentation in internal systems.
• Conduct design verification through experimental testing, analyze data, and make design recommendations.
• Participate in feasibility studies and prototype testing for new or modified designs.
• Collaborate with technicians, drafting teams, and suppliers to select technologies, create concepts, and produce detailed designs.
• Coordinate failure‑analysis investigations and engineering evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Team player able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with multiple competing tasks.
• Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
• Excellent organization, planning and time‑management abilities.
• High ethical standards, personal accountability and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
