Occupational Doctor

About the role

ABB is seeking an Occupational Doctor to provide comprehensive medical care to employees in its NEMA Motors division. You will be the first line of health support, handling emergencies, workplace injuries, and routine health consultations while promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver medical care for illnesses, incidents, and work‑related accidents.
• Respond to emergencies, administer first aid, and manage medical leaves.
• Maintain daily health records, productivity statistics, and medical inventory.
• Conduct safety inspections and implement preventive health measures.
• Train staff on occupational health, safety practices, ergonomics, and psychosocial risk factors.
• Coordinate health campaigns, drills, corporate meetings, and medical transfers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Mexican occupational health regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine; Master’s or specialization in Occupational Health or Industrial Safety preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Occupational Physician in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with Mexican Official Norms (STPS, IMSS, SSA, LFT) and civil protection protocols.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Basic‑intermediate English proficiency.
