Occupational Health Doctor

About the role

Magna is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Doctor to lead the health and safety program for its workforce. The role combines clinical care, preventive health initiatives, and compliance with occupational health regulations within the automotive industry.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company health system, ensuring timely occupational health and ergonomics services for all employees.
• Provide specialized medical care to staff affected by illnesses, incidents, or accidents, facilitating recovery and safe return to work.
• Design, implement, and monitor preventive health programs that educate employees on disease prevention and workplace well‑being.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a specialization in Occupational Health.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican health, environmental and labor regulations (IMSS, SEMARNAP, PROFEPA, STPS, Secretaría de Salud, CNA).
• Intermediate proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Actionlinx software for health data management.
• Competence in ergonomics assessment and program development.
