Ocean Pricing Supervisor

About the role

CEVA Logistics is looking for an Ocean Pricing Supervisor to design and deliver competitive, strategic pricing proposals for ocean freight services. The role focuses on optimizing costs, ensuring viable logistics solutions, and aligning offers with market conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyze optimal logistics solutions for each client request.
• Lead negotiations of rates and space with carriers and shipping lines.
• Evaluate market proposals to ensure competitiveness and feasibility.
• Guarantee timely handling of 100% of pricing requests.
• Maintain constant communication with internal and external customers to understand needs and propose solutions.
• Clarify conditions, assumptions, and scope of each proposal.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Prepare, analyze, and monitor performance reports for the pricing area.
• Identify, evaluate, and integrate new value‑adding suppliers.
• Coordinate and guide the pricing team when applicable.
• Meet KPIs and area objectives, supervise and develop the pricing team, and promote collaborative work and best‑practice processes.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in pricing within international logistics, preferably ocean freight.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision‑making abilities.
• Solid knowledge of the logistics market and freight rate behavior.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
