About the role
UPS is seeking a General Operator to join its fast‑paced warehouse team in Mexico. In this role you will handle the full cycle of package movement, from receiving and scanning to loading, unloading and storing parcels. You will work with a diverse team and use equipment safely to keep operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Learn and correctly apply UPS package‑handling procedures.
- Load and unload packages from trailers, trucks or railcars.
- Scan, sort and store parcels in the appropriate locations.
- Operate heavy machinery when required to complete tasks.
- Perform additional duties assigned in a high‑speed environment.
Required profile
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) repeatedly.
- Capability to read and memorize postal codes.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, up to five days per week.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
