Operations Manager – Delivery Station

About the role

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high‑volume Delivery Station. You will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of tens of thousands of packages daily, ensuring on‑time, safe, and cost‑effective last‑mile service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of a 24/7 Delivery Station handling >30k packages.
• Coordinate with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) and on‑road drivers to meet volume and complexity demands.
• Drive operational metrics, present performance data to senior leadership, and close gaps between goals and results.
• Hire, develop, and retain talent; create and execute a comprehensive talent plan covering acquisition, performance, learning, succession, and engagement.
• Partner with Transport & Sortation, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES, and Engineering to optimize processes.
• Ensure safety culture, monitor service levels, and continuously improve driver and associate performance.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing large, fast‑paced logistics or delivery operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to convey vision and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to develop and execute talent strategies and foster employee engagement.
