Operator Level I

About the role

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is hiring an Operator Level I in Monterrey. The role covers routine maintenance, machine operation and basic production tasks on the factory floor.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and lubricate equipment routinely and keep the manufacturing area free of debris and dirt, putting away or retrieving tools as assigned.
• Follow directions closely to operate machinery, hold or supply routine materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
• Perform routine property care activities and any non-technical routine tasks at the plant.
• Carry out routine quality checks on finished products.
• Report any issues to the supervisor or a higher-level colleague.
• Follow safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Typically a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Ability to listen, understand and follow directions.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.

Required skills

• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
