Oracle Technical Consultant Lead

About the role

The Oracle Technical Consultant Lead will design, install and configure Oracle Retail Xstore solutions for client environments. You will work on both Windows and Linux platforms, ensuring seamless integration of POS, back‑office and mobile components.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure Xstore POS, Xstore Office, XOCS, Xservices and Xenvironment on Windows and Linux.
• Prepare and execute installation and database scripts, manage XML and properties configuration files, and handle overlays and store‑specific paths.
• Configure POS hardware (printers, scanners, pinpads, cash drawers) and maintain JPOS/HardwareConfig files.
• Manage TLS certificates, truststores/keystores, and secure communication between all Xstore components.
• Set up and support Xstore Mobile, including server communication and mobile architecture.
• Implement containerized deployments for Xstore components and related services.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot installation, communication, replication and integration issues using log analysis and debugging tools.
• Validate SOAP/REST services consumed or exposed by Xstore, Xservices and XOCS.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Oracle Retail Xstore suite and its architecture.
• Strong background in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Ability to create, review and debug MNT and XLoad files using HIG and Database Dictionary.
• Experience with database schemas, replication and training environments.
• Familiarity with secure certificate management and container technologies.
• Desirable experience with EFTLink, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
