People Service Analyst (Temporary)

About the role

The People Service Analyst (Temporary) supports General Motors’ global HR community by resolving employee cases, interpreting policies, and delivering high‑quality service. The role leverages AI‑enabled tools to streamline processes and works independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex HR cases that require judgment and limited guidance.
• Partner with various business units to identify solutions and improve case outcomes.
• Utilize AI and technology platforms (e.g., Workday, case management, knowledge bases) to increase efficiency.
• Provide feedback on escalation flows, knowledge accuracy, and systemic friction points.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to reduce case friction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2‑3 years of HR experience, preferably focused on Labor Relations.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end HR processes and experience in multinational, multicultural environments.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work with limited direction.
