PHP Developer - Remote

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our customer’s AI‑agent project on a contract basis. Working remotely from the US or Canada, you will use your expertise in PHP and Laravel to build and maintain the back‑end services that power AI model training pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP applications using the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with AI model trainers to define data structures and workflows for training cycles.
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable, high‑performance back‑end systems.
• Translate functional requirements into clean, reliable code.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex back‑end issues during AI training.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a remote environment.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously while aligning with team goals.
• Experience with data‑driven or AI‑related projects is a plus.
