About the role

The Plant Care Manager – MDR Technical Expert will act as the scientific authority within Bayer's commercial organization, supporting sales and marketing teams with agronomic and technical knowledge. This role focuses on delivering integrated solutions to customers and partners across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for the commercial team, collaborating with R&D, Marketing, and Sales to develop go‑to‑market strategies.
• Provide agronomic and technical expertise to demonstrate the value of Bayer’s product portfolio.
• Execute knowledge‑exchange initiatives, delivering timely insights that build customer confidence.
• Participate in local crop and seed associations to gather market trends and insights.
• Document and communicate local market intelligence to influence business decisions.
• Conduct field‑based applied research on diverse crops, generate high‑quality data, and deliver practical recommendations.
• Explore digital tools to enhance customer‑focused solutions and dealer capabilities.

Required profile

• Master of Science (1–3 years) in Plant Sciences, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Weed Science or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to conduct rigorous field research.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
