Plant Controller – Business Partner for Manufacturing

About the role

The Plant Controller is a strategic member of the plant leadership team, acting as a business partner to the Plant Manager and operations leaders. You will drive financial performance, support key decisions, and ensure the plant meets both operational and financial targets while focusing on partnership rather than routine accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Plant Manager and leadership team to improve business performance.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Analyze plant performance—including costing, variances, and margins—and provide actionable insights.
• Support investment decisions and capital projects such as CAPEX and automation.
• Drive cost‑optimization and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage standard costing and support inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Plant Controller in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in cost accounting, standard costing, and financial analysis.
• Experience partnering with operations and influencing decision‑making.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• MBA or professional certification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA) is a plus.
